In the spirit of Ricardo and Bernadet Pitts-Wiley’s lifelong commitment to community activism, theater, and doing it for the culture, this monthly studio-funded grant fully endows a master portrait sitting for working artists, cultural organizers, and stewards actively serving their communities.
Each awarded grant fully covers a single-subject studio sitting in your choice of format: The Essence (Option A), The Continuum, or The Proscenium. Sitter-requested subject expansions apply standard studio multipliers (+$180 for 1 additional subject / +$360 for 2 additional subjects, up to 3 total subjects).
Note: Applications are reviewed monthly on a rolling basis. Due to limited studio capacity, allocations are awarded based on missional alignment and studio availability. Unselected applications remain active in the pool for consideration in subsequent review cycles.
