Clients select a foundational Prix Fixe sitting package engineered for a dedicated scope of time, medium chemistry, and master physical artifacts, then tailor their commission through itemized À La Carte additions—including multi-subject expansions, specialized film stocks, custom licensing, and bespoke print publications.
Sittings are classified into two primary categories:
Act & Essence Sittings: Editorial, conceptual, personal, and heirloom encounters focused on narrative depth, physical medium chemistry, and family archives.
Forum Sittings: Professional, executive, and institutional encounters engineered for leadership, editorial media, publishing demands, and organizational rosters.
SITTING PACING & PROOFING TIMELINES
A portrait is incomplete until it exists physically in space. Guided by the principle of Artifact Evangelism, every sitting at JPW Studio is conducted as a creation ritual yielding physical, hand-inspected objects engineered to endure across generations.
All initial proofing galleries are provided digitally for online selection. Due to specialized analog chemistry processing, hand-cleaning, and high-resolution master flatbed scanning:

Digital proofing galleries for 6x7 medium-format and 4x5 large-format analog sheet film sittings are delivered within 10 to 14 business days.
