Combining analog depth, character-rich vintage optics, and unhurried studio rigor, each sitting provides a measured, intentional environment to mark moments of significant personal or institutional transformation.

Wedding Portrait Installations (Dedicated, editorial portrait sessions on medium or large format—rendered on location or in-studio before, after, or separate from the event. Note: The studio does not offer event coverage or full-day wedding reporting.)

COMMISSION SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY
Milestone sittings—including engagements, wedding portrait installations, career appointments, and legacy portraits—are booked year-round on a rolling basis, subject to studio calendar availability.
Because academic commencement coincides with high seasonal demand, graduation-specific sittings are realized during a dedicated annual commission window:

Lead Time: Early consultation (4 to 8 weeks in advance) is recommended to secure specific dates, lighting conditions, and custom location requirements.

Commencement & Academic Sittings
Dedicated, reduced-scope sittings structured specifically for graduating students, candidates for advanced degrees, emerging artists, and scholars during the seasonal commencement window.
Student & Academic Accessibility: To support graduating scholars and emerging artists, specialized commencement tiers are available exclusively during the April 1 – July 15 window. Eligibility requires proof of upcoming or recent commencement, such as a valid institutional ID, degree petition, registrar letter, official regalia order receipt, or commencement program listing.
The Commencement
A tactile, live-chemistry studio or environmental sitting centered on immediacy, vintage optics, and one-of-a-kind physical objects.
The Sitting: 45 minutes to 1 hour of focused studio or campus environmental portraiture.
The Process: Created with medium or large-format camera systems using classic instant film backs (8 to 10 exposures made during the sitting—one complete film pack).
The Artifacts:
8 to 10 original, physical instant film portraits delivered live upon session conclusion
High-resolution archival digital scans of all physical prints

The Cap & Gown
A dynamic, multi-setup graduation session blending the speed and flexibility of modern digital medium format with the distinct character of vintage lenses and a dedicated film sequence.
The Sitting: 1 hour of active portraiture under controlled studio light or natural open-air conditions.
The Process: Digital medium-format portraiture using rare vintage lenses for a distinct optical character, anchored by a full roll of 120 medium-format film (10 exposures made during the sitting).
The Artifacts:
Integrated digital and film proofing gallery (30+ curated studies, including high-resolution scans from the complete film sequence)
8 final finished portrait master files, fully retouched

The Process: Made on 4x5 large-format view cameras using classic Polaroid or Instax Wide instant sheet film backs (10 to 12 exposures created during the sitting).

The Folio
A dynamic, layered sitting leveraging digital medium format and vintage optics alongside analog film.

The Process: Driven primarily by digital medium-format systems paired with vintage lenses, anchored by a single intentional roll of medium-format analog film (10 exposures).

CUSTOM ADDITIONS & ARCHIVAL PRINTING
Additional Retouched Master Files: $85 per file (includes high-resolution file and digital archive license).
Fine Art Museum-Grade Prints: Museum-rag cotton prints and custom framing services are quoted individually upon selection of final master files.
On-Location / Travel Commissions: Sittings outside the regional studio area are accommodated with travel expenses quoted in advance.
PAYMENT & COMMISSION TERMS
All milestone sittings are secured with a 50% retainer upon booking, with the remaining balance due on the date of the sitting. Custom payment schedules across 3 or 4 installments are available upon request for legacy and family commissions.
